As nights out go, our great capital has it all. There are so many different areas offering diverse pub and club experiences. One of the most exciting areas of London is Camden, which has everything to offer from legendary music venues to swanky cocktail bars. At Nights Gone Wild we like to make sure you have the best night out possible wherever you go in London (don’t forget we offer London’s best pub crawls), so we here are our top 5 pubs and clubs in Camden.

The Dublin Castle; 94 Parkway Road

If you love your music live and your drinks cheap then look no further than The Dublin Castle. This boozer is one of the most famous small music venues in London, known for hosting early gigs for Blur, Coldplay, Supergrass, The Arctic Monkeys and proudly the birthplace of two tone legends Madness.

It hosts live music nearly every night with at list a couple of acts on each bill and entry is normally less than £8, DJ’s play after the live music finishes on Friday and Saturdays.

Fifty Five Bar; 31, Jamestown Road

If cocktails are more your tipple, then your better off heading down to Fifty Five Bar who are specialists at mixing up all manner of inventive bevvies. Their cocktail menu boasts a jaw dropping 200 drinks, all of which are 2for1 during happy hours. There is also a massive dog-leg shaped terrace which is great in the summer months.

In keeping with the Camden indie sensibilities the interior of Fifty Five Bar is covered in band album and single cover art. It is understandably very popular so its worth getting down their earlier rather than later on a weekend if your cocktail thirst needs questions.

York and Albany; 127-129 Parkway

On the edge of Regents Park sits this delightful hotel owned by everyone’s favourite foul mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey. Aside of the restaurant delicatessen and bedrooms, the York and Albany has a fantastic cocktail bar.

Sit amongst the comfortable seating and surround yourself by the chi décor whilst enjoying classic cocktails made from the finest British produce. While its not exactly a place to sit in all night due to the price, it is perfect for a treat or celebration.

Proud Camden; The Horse Hospital, Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road

If you’re looking for a crowd pleasing club night, then Proud Camden is the place for you. Once a Horse hospital, the 19th century grade II listed building has since become a diverse nightclub and events venue. From mainstream club nights to full band karaoke and everything in-between, whatever your taste, you’ll find it there.

Proud Camden hasn’t forgotten its roots either and incorporates its Equestrian past into its seating by creating special booths in the dividers which used to be horse stables which can be booked online.

Made in Brasil; 12 Inverness Street

Especially over the winter months you cant help but recall a beautiful holiday to an exotic destination where you soaked up the sun whilst enjoying some refreshing cocktails, all of which now feel like they exist in a far away galaxy. If this is how you feel then fear not, because you can recapture that amazing summer feeling for a fraction of the cost by heading to Made in Brasil

A Brazilian themed restaurant and bar serving up the most authentic cuisine and importantly cocktails, which combined with the brightly coloured décor and continuous party atmosphere can almost make you feel like you back at that beach bar you remember so fondly.
